LOCAL EVANGELISM

Church members are encouraged to build relationships with unbelievers, love them, and share Christ with them at opportune times. Besides our Discipleship Groups, all other programs and meetings of the church are intended to be welcoming and accessible to non-Christians. We may occasionally have evangelistic programs that specifically reach out to unbelievers.  There are times when we invite the entire church to serve in a specific way, but in general we encourage our members to serve individually where they have a heart to serve. These are the current local organizations that CPC supports financially.

REGIONAL EVANGELISM

“We support the growth of Christianity in our region by either sending out daughter churches and/or supporting other church planting endeavors. In 2026 we sent out our own Rev. Brandon Hawkes along with a core group to plant Providence Presbyterian Church in Toccoa/Stephens County.  We continue to support that work even as we hope to plant other churches in Northeast Georgia in the future.”

GLOBAL EVANGELISM

We prayerfully and thoughtfully choose several missionaries and/or ministries around the world to support. Ten percent of our giving goes towards this type of support. Church members are given opportunities to learn more about God’s work around the world and participate in it through means such as seminars, reports, giving, and mission/vision trips.
