SCBC is theologically and philosophically aligned with the CCEF model of care, and is committed to offering counseling services and resources that are Christ-centered, gospel-focused, and clinically-informed.

SERVICES

SCBC provides counseling services to individuals in our local community and throughout Northeast Georgia, in addition to Redemption (support) groups, and other resources designed to strengthen the local church in its ability to disciple holistically.

Each Fall and Spring, we offer a variety of Redemption Groups that meet on Thursday evenings. A Redemption Group is a support group that focuses on a rotating series of issues such as grief, caregiving, family of origin, codependency, addiction, parenting, marriage, etc. for a season. The purpose of these groups is to walk with one another in these specific areas where God is calling us to to grow in His likeness and to grow in our ability to connect the truths of scripture to our present sin and suffering.

In addition to these weekly groups, SCBC has annual events that feature topics and speakers who address relevant topics such as parenting, technology, our therapeutic culture, and others. These events are open to the public and serve the larger community of Northeast Georgia as we seek to create spaces where we can apply a Biblical worldview and promote wisdom as we wrestle with some of the most pressing issues of our culture.  

DONATIONS

SCBC exists as a ministry of Christ Presbyterian Church and {is grateful for} (relies on) the generosity of donors as well as the donations of individual clients to provide Biblical Counseling throughout Northeast Georgia.
